With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Mitchell in Dayton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert G. Mitchell; her parents, Phillip Gardner and Harriet Gardner; and her brothers, Arlis, Vernon and Melvin Gardner.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Blackburn (John), Teresa Garrett (Tom), Diane English (David) and Katie Johnson (Tony); her grandchildren, Joshua, Erica, Kristen, Shawn, Ashley, Cassandra, Michael and Natalie; her great grandchildren, Emily, Austin, Alex, Jonathan, Silas, Lexi, Riley, Ella, Michael, Gracie, Aiden and Evelyn; and her great great grandchildren, Michael and Daisy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
