He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilkinson and Gladys Wilkinson; and his siblings, Mildred Edwards of Leesburg Florida and Reginald Knox of Dayton Ohio. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Wilkinson; his sons, Danny Lewis of Dayton Ohio and Cedric Lewis (Ashley) of Silver Spring; his grandchildren, Alivia and Roman Lewis; his siblings, Kenny (Sharon), Leon (Patricia) of Dayton, Doris Wilkinson, Shirley Boyd, Sherry Shoulders (Bobby) of Dayton and Corinthia Marrow of Columbus; and his stepmother Shirley Wilkinson of Dayton Ohio.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (502 Pontiac Ave, Dayton, OH 45417). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the West Memory Gardens (6722 Hemple Rd, Moraine, OH 45418).
