She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nalls and Lubirta Nalls; and her children, Marny Lynn, Michael, Sr. and Jerome M. Sanders.
She is survived by: her son Jonathan Nalls; her siblings, Phyllis Bass, Linda Bradfield (Lewis), James Nalls and Larry Nalls; her grandchildren, Kristen Dansby, Jonathan Nalls, LaMica Carter (Jeffery), Michael Sanders, Jr. (Myshea), Trey (Lann Sanders), LaKeisha Wilson, KaCey Wilson, Kei Wilson, JaLann Sanders, Kobe Wilson and Sha (Mya Sanders); her cousin Massie Slaughter; and her close friend James Scott.
