She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Cornelius and Hattie Cornelius. She is survived by: her daughter Angela Coleman; her brother Emmanuel; her husband Joseph L. Coleman; her sons, Kenneth W. Coleman Sr. (Stacey) and Kelvin M. Coleman (Taeko); her grandchildren, Kandace M. Coleman, Ashley L. Coleman, Brittany K. Bradley (Dana), Brooke J. Whorton (Shaquan), Jasmine C. Coleman, Kenneth W. Coleman Jr., Caeara M. Coleman (Katie), Joshua R. Coleman, Sheridan Coleman, Jordan B. Coleman and Luna Coleman; and her daughter-in-law Meshel Coleman. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
