He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his parents, Elmer Gantner and Marie Gantner; his children, Paul Gantner and Karen Neely; and his sister Catherine Jablinski.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Gantner, Richard Gantner (Candace) and Catherine Booher; and his grandchildren, Andy, Christina and Ashley. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at the Woodland Cemetery (118 Woodland Ave, Dayton, OH 45409).
