He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Behner and Ethel Behner (Opdyke); his wives, Velma J. Behner (Sevison) and Dorothy J. Behner (Richardson); and his siblings, Donna Porco, Russell H. Behner and Charles A. Behner.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Jones (Timothy) of Firestone, CO, Linda Rodgers (Oza) of Mt. Vernon, Dr. E. Dale Behner (Lynn) of Cicero, IN and Jay E. Behner (Sheila) of Marengo; his grandchildren, Amy Martin (Jeremy), Bryan Dawson (Ruth), Chad Brownfield (Susan), Andrew Brownfield (Angie), Lafe Brownfield, Jay Brownfield (Dawn), Nicolas Behner (Bianca), Ryan Behner (Samantha), Tadd Behner, Corey Dickerson (Joel) and Joe Behner; and his sister Doris Goronzy of Fredericktown. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
