She was predeceased by: her parents, James Otto and Geneva Castle (Sturgill); and her siblings, Patsy Ryan, Charles E. Castle, Sharlotte Gilpin, James D. Castle, Millard C. Castle, Doyle E. Castle, Donny R. Castle and Nellie Castle.
She is survived by: her children, David and Nancy; her close friend John Goudy of Danville; her sisters, Debra Inscore of Canal Winchester and Elizabeth of Groveport; her grandchildren, Catherine and Grant Tillis; and her son-in-law Dwight Tillis.
