It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles McClain Jr. of Danville, Ohio, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McClain and Ruth Jane McClain (Smith); and his sister Molley Sue Ash. He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Weckesser (Larry); his granddaughters, Caroline, Elizabeth "Lizzy" and Rebecca; his siblings, John McClain (Deb) of Danville, Bonnie Wallace (Ron) of Danville, Nora Brooks of Danville and Richard McClain (Donna) of Mount Vernon; his brother-in-law Danny Ash of Mt. Vernon; and his close friend Don Leo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Millwood Church of Christ (10900 Millersburg Rd, Howard, OH 43028). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made to Camp Wakitomika, where Ed was in charge of cooking the hog for the annual roast.
