With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William D. Farriss of Dalton, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on August 2, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Farriss and Florence P. Farriss (Otto); his wife Carol Ann Myers; his great grandchild Jenson Hodge; his siblings, Otto Farriss (Thelma), Robert Farriss, Helen Halsey (George) and Imogene Bettler (Herman); and his brother-in-law Charles Gross.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Farriss (Myrna) of Dalton, W. Alan Farriss of Dalton and Teri Weaver (Jerry) of North Lawrence; his grandchildren, Heidi Pine (Jared), Trisha Hodge (Joshua), Adrian Dixon, Tad Weaver (Danielle), Johanna Riggs (Caleb), Jae Weaver (Truman Karczewski), Austin Farriss, Cole Farriss (Shayla Raff), Devyn Farriss (John Spratt) and Zoey Farriss; and his sister Betty Lou Gross of Jackson Twp. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornerstone Community Church.
