He was predeceased by: his son Karl; and his brothers, Johann, Martin and Thomas Krempel. He is survived by: his parents, Wendelin Krempel and Theresa Krempel (Koehler); his wife Anna Krempel (Kramer); his grandchildren, Melissa (Greg), Kristen Chavez (Miguel), Laura, Ryan, Sean Murphy, Brook Mumaw (Steve), Rachel, Tara, Jill Hollenbaugh and Kate Badaroux; and his great grandchildren, Annabelle Murphy, Avery, Tessa, Isaiah Chavez, Noah, Gabriel, Ella, Samuel Meyer, Titus Hoy, Norah Mumaw and Elias Holt.
