It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelson R. Wenger of Dalton, Ohio, born in Wooster, Ohio, who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Wenger and Mary Wenger (Good); and his grandson Aaron Samuel Wenger. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis M. Wenger; his pet Sassy; his sons, Lynn Wenger (Debra) of Dalton, Michael Wenger (Rita) of Dalton, Terry Wenger (Shellie) of Apple Creek and Mark Wenger (Melissa) of Dalton; his grandchildren, Bryce (Amanda), Natasha, Carmen, Brooke, Jessica, Jordan, Joey, Jamee, Meridith, Emma, Ellie, Sawyer, Caleb and Kate; his great grandchild Eleanor; and his siblings, Nancy Kropf (Lyle) of Wickenburg, AZ, Leonard Wenger (Sharon) of Dalton, Wilbur Wenger (Mary) of Dalton and Faye Shaum (Ray) of Orrville.
Due to Covid in the Wenger family, they have cancelled public visitation and will have a private funeral for family only.
