Marvin B. Good Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Marvin B. Good of Dalton, Ohio, whose life came to an end on March 19, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Good and Bertha Good (Eberly); his grandsons, Lamar Good and Jeremy Fox; his sisters, Velma Geiser and Louella Good; and his brothers-in-law, Enos Nighswander and Oris Steiner.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Fay VanPelt; his children, Norman (MaryLou) of Marshallville, OH, Lester (Shana) of Browerville, MN, Louise (Robert Martin) of Warrensburg, MO, Myrna (Kenneth Graber) of Versailles, MO, Sharon of Marshallville, OH, Evelyn (Stephen Nolt) of Pennsburg, PA, Marjorie (James Fox) of Greenwich, OH and Florence (Mervin Nolt) of Cambridge Springs, PA; his sisters, Esther (Clarence Neuenschwander), Arlene Nighswander of Barwick, ON, Ruth (Carl Good), Dorothy Steiner of Apple Creek, OH, Anna Lois (Glen Zimmerman) and Carolyn (David Horst); and his brother-in-law Gerald Geiser. He is also survived by 56 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the County Line Mennonite Church (19199 Church Rd, Dalton, OH 44618). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the East Union Mennonite Church (10678 Old Lincoln Way, Orrville, OH 44667).
