He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Clayton Leham. He is survived by: his wife Martha (Troyer); his children, Buford Kandel (Sheri), Corene Kandel of Sterling and Danelle Ramsey of Alma, AR; his grandchildren, Nikole Poole (Richard), Ashley Hege (Alex), Diedra Mickle (Brandon), Kaitlyn Kowiki (Andrew), Wyatt Jasper, Alexis Glessner, Tristan Ramsey and Shelby Ramsey; and his siblings, Marvin Kandel (Esther) of Dalton, Norman Kandel (Janice) of Dalton, Mary Lehman of Mt, Arlene Brubaker (Willie) of Orrville and Patricia Phillips (Carl) of Dalton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
