With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Wertz (Dalton, Ohio), who passed away on April 6, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wertz and Anna Marie Wertz (Weisgarber); and his siblings, Carl "Wilbur", Bill Wertz and Helen Nelson.
He is survived by: his spouse Laurel Morton; his children, Wendie Berry (Alan) of Massillon, Julie Farelli (Richard) of Massillon, David Wertz of Columbus, Todd Wertz (Sarah) of Dalton, Jeremy Wertz (Frances) of Dalton and Jodi Morris (John) of Orrville; and his sisters, Donna Zuercher of Dalton and Wanda Hann (Lawrence) of Dalton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
