He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Menges and Frances T. Menges (Waldick); his sister Anna Lou Giles (Raymond); and his brother-in-law Joe Wilson (Zoe). He is survived by: his wife Veronica "Vickie"; his sons, David Jr. (Judy) of Cambridge, OH, Ron (Kara) of Freeport, OH and Mike (Stephanie) of Bethesda, OH; his grandchildren, John, Kaitlyn Baker (Caleb), Kelsey, Mariah Lynn (Ray), Lane (Lindsay), Luke and Lauryn; his great grandchildren, Marcus, Troy, Vincent and Allis; and his siblings-in-law, Marty Wilson (Karla), Terry Wilson (Elsie), Lonnie Wilson and Margo Huff (Larry).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dalton Community Historical Society or the Dalton Presbyterian Church.
