She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Healy and Elizabeth Healy (Lintner); her former husband Bernard McKibben; her husband Fred Heinemann; her children, Marlin McKibben, Scott McKibben and Janet Hall; her granddaughter Bobbie Jo McKibben; her siblings, William Healy, June Natoli and Joyce Hobden; and her son-in-law James Sawyers.

She is survived by: her children, Robert McKibben (Marla) of Arizona, Vickie Summers (Russell) of Texas and Sandra Sawyers of Dalton; and her daughter-in-law Mary McKibben of Canton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Betty's honor may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
