He is survived by: his close friend Ardella "Bessie" Palmer; his children, Loretta Wappelhorst, Nathan Wappelhorst and James Wappelhorst; and his siblings, Ralph Wappelhorst (Betty), John Wappelhorst, Robert Wappelhorst, Gerald Wappelhorst (Toni), Donna Wappelhorst-Hawkins (Rex), Cheryl Stevens, Leon Wieter, Kerry "Beanie" Wieter, Wendy Whittington (Scott), Penny Wilgus and Twyla Nuttle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
