He is survived by: his children, Kevin Ackerman (Lisa) of Onsted, MI, Kerry Ackerman (Salli) of Quincy, MI, Sherry Felstein (Michael) of Toledo, Nadine Sterling (Kevin) of Marion and Tracy King (Dave) of North Baltimore; his brother Joe Ackerman of Snellville, GA; his grandchildren, Andrea Hays (Jim), Abbi Chen (Chris), Kyle Sterling (Jamie), Craig Ackerman, Neal Felstein (Rebecca), Amanda Zucker (Ben), Adam Ackerman (Nicola), Lauren Girdler (Nick), Olivia Kohstall (Frank) and Heather Roberts (Austin); his great grandchildren, Eli, Nina, Gabi, Anderson, Keilani, Kinsley, Evalynn, Elizabeth, Rylin, Anika, Keaton, Campbell, Nicholas, David and Iris; and his great great grandchild Amena.
