He is survived by: his wife Sue Boyer; his sons, Jeffery Mercer (Angelic) of Bloomdale, Ohio and Craig Mercer (Robyn) of Cygnet, Ohio; his grandchildren, Kodi Mercer (Kenzie), Branden Mercer, McKenzie Mercer and Jacob Sterns (Sarah); and his siblings, Tom Mercer (Gail) and Heidi Ziegler (Dan).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Don's honor may be gifted to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
