He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Anthony and Johanna Wilks (Mark); his grandchildren, Rosa, Joy, Michael, Mia, Adyn and Ariana; and his siblings, Mario, Angelo and Lucrezia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
