He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert, Sr. Patterson and Grace Patterson (Peters); his sister Jeanne Violette (David); and his pets, Buttons, Bijoux and Jake.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Patterson (McDonald); his daughter Carole Patterson (Andrew Dinh); and his siblings, Tom Patterson and Joanne Eckenrode. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
