With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matilda (Toots) H. Rocko of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, born in Weirton, West Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Rocko; her parents, Joseph Demko and Helen Demko; her in-laws, Albert and Joanna Rocko; and also Jennie Rocko.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark (Kelly) and Greg Rocko (Lisa); her brother Joseph Demko (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Lindsey Sloan (Cephas), Bryan (Bailey), Sarah, Kristen Austin (Ben) and Adam Rocko; her stepgrandchildren, Amanda Scenna (Rick) and Sydney Knauf; her great grandchildren, Brynlee and Beckett Sloan; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Rowan, Remi and Richard Scenna, Jr..
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Eugene Catholic Church (1821 Munroe Falls Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221). A Mass was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Matilda's name, to either St. Eugene Catholic Church (https://sainteugene.org), or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
