He was predeceased by: his parents, William Connery and Lucie Doyle Connery; his wife Jeanne M. Ahearn Connery; and his brothers, Rev. J. Thomas "Tom" Connery and William Connery.
He is survived by: his children, James Jr. of Port Orange, FL, John (Pamela) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Jeanne Starr (Steve) of Albany, NY and Janice of Norcross, GA; his sister Andrea Moran; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Ethan, McKenna and Colin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, great grand nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc. (565 4th Ave, Troy, NY 12182). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871). A burial will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024.
