It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Sue Weitzel of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Weitzel and Pauline Weitzel; and her brother David Weitzel. She is survived by: her children, Wade "Eric" McFarland (Libby), Lara Perkins (Ronny), Chad McFarland (Ruth), Seth McFarland (Wendy), Anna Kossuth (Justin), Hope Rechenmacher, Jon Rechenmacher and Sarah Rechenmacher (Michael Sylvester); her grandchildren, Caleb Perkins (Madi), Noah Perkins, Grace Perkins, Ella McFarland, Tessa McFarland, Calynn McFarland, Aiden McFarland, Joshua McFarland, Matthew McFarland, Alexander Kossuth, Benjamin Kossuth, Gavin Stennett and Millie Sylvester; her great grandchild Poppy Perkins; and her siblings, Gary Weitzel and Terry Weitzel (Sue).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
