He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Pyatt (Sholes); his parents, Elmer Pyatt and Mabel Pyatt (Rhodes); his siblings, Harley Pyatt and Hilda Waggoner; and his nephew Kevin Waggoner.
He is survived by: his daughter Dawn Eddy (Rob); his grandchildren, Chris Barton and Reanna Barton; his sister Della Mae Pyatt; his sisters-in-law, Brenda Hendershot (Bub) and Peggy Tibbs; his nieces and nephews, Howard Waggoner (Bonnie), Theda Waggoner Bass (Mark), Nacoma Mayhugh (Michael) and Ralph Ray Waggoner (Sara); and his close friends, Ronnie and Debbie Church. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101).
