He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Marie Mercer Benedict and Henry Nelson Benedict, Sr.; his former wife Patricia Moore Benedict; and his siblings, Bonnie June Decker, Leona Slatzer, Paul Benedict and Ronald Benedict.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Jane Daggett (Tom) and Henry Nelson Benedict, III (Callie); his stepchildren, Deneen Henthorn, Brad Hackney (April), Phyllip Young (Nicollette), Meshaum Bogard and Sasha Velasco; his grandchildren, Olivia Hounshell (Zach), Makenzie, Tommy Daggett, Mariska, Mariah Benedict, Courtney Templeton, Austin, Andrew, Caidence Hackney, Megan Bleigh (Andrew), Katie Baltodano (Anthony), Jonathan Young (Katie), Samantha Young, Mackenzie Bogard, Jacob Huhn and Jack Roark; his great grandchildren, Garrett, Marco, Amelia, Eliana, Edwin and Lillian Rose; his former wife Jane Place Benedict; and his wife Ella Palmer Bogard-Benedict.
Masks will be required and social distancing will be observed.
