With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles E. Stein of Custar, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Stein and Alice Stein (Storeholder); and his siblings, Edwin Stein, Mary Seifert, James Stein, Patricia Stein and Marcella Clingenpeel.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Stein (Schneider); his children, Diana Challen (Steve), Michael Stein (Kathy) and Steven Stein (Amy); his grandson Dan Challen (Stacy); his stepgranddaughters, Bailee Burgard and Carlee Burgard; his great grandchild Olivia Challen; and his sister Elizabeth "Betty" Haas.
The family suggests memorials to St. Louis Catholic Church.
