We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2023, at the age of 81, John W. Gravens of Cumberland, Ohio, born in Cambridge, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Gravens and Joseph "Joe" Gravens; his siblings, Joseph "Joe" Gravens Jr., Peter Gravens and Helen "Hennie" Ritch; his former wife Mary Gravens; and his sons, Maurice "Bud" Waddell Jr. and William "Bill" Waddell.
He is survived by: his daughter Haley "Spring" Black (Dwaine); his daughter-in-law Margaret Waddell; his grandchildren, Maurice "Buddy" Waddell III (Alison), Jessica Waddell, Jeremy Waddell (Athena), Kristin Arthurs (Erick), Elizabeth "Beth" Waddell, Eric Black (Ashlee), Emilee Waddell (Brandon) and Hannah Black; and his great grandchildren, Andrea Waddell, Brooklyn Waddell, Lily Arthurs and Madeline "Maddie" Black.
