James David Weaver Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2025, at the age of 77, James David Weaver of Cumberland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Weaver and Jane Miller Weaver; and his siblings, Barbara Broyles and Mark Weaver. He is survived by: his wife Sondra Ponchak Weaver; his sons, Aaron Weaver (Heather) of McConnelsville and Justin Weaver (Laura) of Grandville; his stepson Tracy Anderson (Amanda) of New Concord; his daughter Jennefer Weaver of McConnelsville; his stepdaughter Debroah Armstrong (Mike) of Gratiot; and his siblings, Kenton Weaver (Ann) of McConnelsville and Brenda Balderson (John) of Malta. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Matheney Funeral Home (165 N Kennebec Ave, McConnelsville, OH 43756). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Malta Cemetery (2860 Townsend Malta Ln, Malta, OH 43758).
