She was predeceased by: her parent Omar Vernon; her husband James David Waite, Jr.; her son Joseph B. Waite; her grandchildren, Christopher Lee Clark and Joel Law; and her siblings, Mary Bickford, Vernon Reed, Roy Reed and James Reed.
She is survived by: her parent Itol Belle Combs Reed; her children, Linda D. Clark (Larry) of Reinersville, Debora E. Ray (Jim) of McConnelsville, Mike Waite (Carolyn) of Cumberland and Karen E. Law (David) of Caldwell; her daughter-in-law Velma I. Waite of Byesville; and her brother Floyd Z. Reed (Barbara) of Chandlersville.
