He is survived by: his children, Cathy Carpenter (Gary) of Barberton and Rick Goodin of Cumberland; his grandsons, Stephen Carpenter and Del Goodin (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Zachary Carpenter, Kyler, Parker and Hayden Goodin; and his half-sister Linda Logsdon (Howard) of Arizona. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
