He is survived by: his parent Nettie M. Snyder Bachtel; his wife Gloria G. Lee Bachtel; his daughter Dawn Blake (Austin) of Cumberland; his granddaughters, Sara Blake and Megan Rowe (Chris); his siblings, Bill Bachtel (Gail) of Norton, OH, Robert Bachtel of Cambridge, OH, Harold Bachtel (Barbara) of Newcomerstown, OH, Darlene Pemberton (Larry) of Batavia, OH, Marlene Bachtel of Barberton, OH, Carl Bachtel of New Philadelphia, OH, Charlene Ruskiewicz (Bill) of Doylestown, OH and Jolene Light of Barberton; his sister-in-law Isabel Bachtel of Akron; and his significant other Neko. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
