He was predeceased by: his father Ermine K. Reed; his wife Wreatha Ann Reed (Calland); his daughter Deidre Ann Reed Lauer; and his siblings, Carlos Reed, Lila Reed Caldwell and Donna Reed Milhone.
He is survived by: his children, Jon Reed (Carla) of Byesville, Donna Weingart (Don Ross) of Cambridge, Debra Bennington (Brian Stone) of Lore City and Dolores "Bootsie" McFarland (Matt) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Ryan Lauer, Jessie Reed Webb (Aaron), Kaleigh Reed (Jeremy Archer), Sara Reed Helvik (Anthony), Justin Weingart (Megan), Kyle Weingart (Morgan), Cody Weingart (Tori), Garrett Bennington (Taylor), Ethan Bennington, Ian McFarland (Sarah), JT McFarland (Britany), Terra Campbell (Landon), Lexi McFarland, Eric Bennington (Laura), April Bauerdick (Jan), Michele Clewell and Rachael Boreman (Jay); and his close friends, Rick Weingart and Bob Bennington. He is also survived by thirty-nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations to Hospice of Guernsey County.
