He was predeceased by: his mother Linda Samples Morris; his father-in-law Gayle C. Bachtel (Austin); and his pet Moose. He is survived by: his father Austin Blake Jr. of Green, OH; his wife Dawn R. Bachtel Blake; his daughters, Sara Blake (Danny Elliott) of Zanesville and Megan Rowe (Chris) of Cumberland; his brother Greg Blake of Tallmadge, OH; his cousins, Jimmy Samples (Lin) of Vienna, OH and Tina Vick (Neil) of Akron, OH; his aunt Diana Dalic (Mark) of Sandusky, OH; his mother-in-law Gloria G. Bachtel of Cumberland; and his pet Stanley.
