He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hooks and Juanita Hooks (Wolfe); his siblings, Robert Hooks and Robin Ann Brown; his daughter Amy P. Hooks; and his brother-in-law Greg White.
He is survived by: his children, Juanita Ranay Redding, Amos Hooks Jr., Andrew Hooks and Dustin Hooks (SueAnn); his sister Nancy White; his grandchildren, Dannon, Raylea, Easton, Josie, Dwayne, Desirae, Daiquane and Ayden; and his great grandchildren, Dwayne and Michael. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; his close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Black-Epperson Funeral Home (231 Main St, Byesville, OH 43723). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Black-Epperson Funeral Home.
