He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Sheets and Melva Bevan Sheets; his wife Gwendolyn Strait Sheets; his grandson Jeremy Halley; and his siblings, Dorothy Greene, Glenna Gay Green and C. Wayne Sheets.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Halley (David), Willard Allen Sheets (Sharon), Grover Thomas "Tom" Sheets and Danny Sheets (Pam); and his grandchildren, Joanna M. McKnight (Bob), Bryan Halley, Gretchen Pingley (Joe), Mary Elizabeth Ward (Michael), Cody R. Sheets, Cory Camden, Jordan Sheets, Ryan Shafer and Trevor Shafer. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Willard's name to the Holzer Senior Care Activity Fund.
