He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Scarrett and Jessie Burns Scarrett; his wife Linda Scarrett; and his sisters, Donna Miller and Carolyn Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Scarrett of Columbus, Wanda May (Joe Pierce) of Piketon, Billy Rife (Mary) of Piketon, Linda Little (Clayton) of Ironton and Roberta Orsbon of Johnson City, TN; and his siblings, Robert Davis, Larry Davis (Mary Betts), Paul Frank Scarett, Sonda Meredith and Pam Congrove (Tim Burgess). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
