He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gibson and Shirley Holland Gibson; and his former wife Mae Hesson Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Anne Stapleton Gibson of Crown City; his children, Scott Gibson (Donna) of Crown City, Stormy Gibson of Columbus, Daphne Lawrence (Andrew) of Gallipolis, Andrea Roberts (Wade) of Gallipolis and Courtney Barnett of Crown City; his grandchildren, Wes Gibson, Kristin Lowe, Tobias Pasquale, Ashley Pasquale, Casey Lawrence, Jessica Roberts, Alexandrea Sabolsky, Katherine Zaayer, Jayden Rogers and Haleigh Rogers; and his siblings, Shirley Adkins of Pataskala, Ohio and Fred Gibson (Rose) of Columbus, Ohio.. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
