He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mary Jo and Paul Dean Porter; and his father Wallace Randall Chafin. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Chafin, Clayton Chafin, Conner Chafin, Parker and Pryce; his brother Mark J. Chafin; his mother Mary Beth Slayton (Jerry); his aunt Patricia Griffith; his uncle Jason Porter; his great-uncle Wes Shepherd (Judy); and his great-aunt Violet Jeffers.
