She is survived by: her sons, Charlton Armstrong (Melissa) and James Derek Armstrong; her grandchildren, Christopher Armstrong, Kadesha Armstrong and James Armstrong; and her siblings, Althea Howard, Peggie Combs (Lee), Marica Stroud (David), Charles Howard (Yolanda), Freddie Howard (Judy) and Edward Howard (Winnie). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
