It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Barcus of Crown City, Ohio, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Drummond and Murlie Johnson Drummond; her husband Charles Lee Barcus; her sons-in-law, Robert Hudson and Thomas Beaver; her great grandchild Bee Beaver; and her siblings, Edith May Drummond, Minnie Harrison, Myrtle Kemper, Amy Sexton, Arthur, Marshal, Harley, Clifford and John Drummond.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Beaver of Gallipolis, Bobbie Cook (Jeff) of Crown City and Kenny Barcus (Tammi) of Crown City; her grandsons, T. C. Beaver (Jillian), Matthew Beaver (Emily) and Harry Hudson; her great grandchildren, Dacoda Charles Hudson, Eloise, Matilda, Thor, Siddalee and Cora Beaver; and her sister Nancy Warren of Gallipolis.
