She was predeceased by: her mother Christine; her stepfather Clancy Short; her stepdaughter Barbara Jean Rossiter; and her siblings, Bernard Bowen, Fleeta Greene, Paul Short and Clancy "Bub" Short.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vera Johnson (Grady) and Anita Rossiter; her granddaughters, Rachel Kirby (Devin), Olivia Johnson (Caden Wilt) and Natalie Johnson; her great grandchild Faith Elizabeth Kirby; her siblings, Shirley Greene, Roger Short (Joy) and Margie Matheny (Gary); and her sister-in-law Dorothy Short. She is also survived by step grandchildren and their children, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
