He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jackson and Ernie Belle Harvey Cox; and his siblings, Clinton Cox, Henry Cox, Jimmy Cox, Charlotte Holland, Connie Cox and Cora Cox.
He is survived by: his siblings, Violet Taylor of Gallipolis, Dorcas Snap of Florida and Calvin Cox of Dayton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
