He was predeceased by: his parents, Oyer Caldwell and Julia Williams Caldwell; his son Jimmy Dale Caldwell; his brother Mervin Dale Caldwell; and his granddaughter Missy Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Beaver Caldwell of Crown City; his children, Edna Wells of Gallipolis, Johnny Caldwell of Gallipolis, Brenda Caldwell of Crown City and Jerry Caldwell (Linda) of Crown City; his grandchildren, Angie Adkins (Carey), Cindy Hollis, Jamie Dale Caldwell, Jessi Caldwell, Rick Wells (Bernice), Johnny Dale Caldwell, Mandi Harold, Tyler Burgess (Jonna) and Dawn Caldwell; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Bentley and Jovie. He is also survived by 13 great great grandchildren.
