He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeph Chapman and Gypsie Mae Chapman (Bartram); his wife Carolyn Louella Craig of Gallia County; his siblings, Evan Roger Chapman, Glen Reed Chapman, John Martin Chapman, Andy Shayde Chapman, Richard Logan Chapman and Janet Rose McKinney; and his siblings-in-law, Donald McKinney, Velma Chapman (Kitchen), Rebecca Knowles, Paula Chapman (Pitts) and Virginia Chapman (Faulkner).
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Jean Shaw (Bobby) of Crown City, Ohio, Terry David Chapman (Donna) of Crown City, Ohio, Cheryl Ann Clary (Rick) of Crown City, Ohio, Craig Andrew Chapman of Crown City, Ohio and Cindy Sue Beaver (Loren) of Crown City, Ohio; his siblings, Nell D. Carter (Ross) of Niceville, Florida and Rev. Jimmy Chapman (Beverly) of Centenary, Ohio; and his sisters-in-law, Candy Chapman of Navarre, Marion "Dutch" Chapman of Gallipolis, Ohio and Sue Craig Campbell of Gallipolis, Ohio. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
