He is survived by: his daughter Monica L. Day Markin; his grandchildren, Jeremy L. Markin II, Matthew I Markin, Julie L. Thivener, Audrey G. Thivener and Russell C. Thivener; his sisters, Alice Bowyer, Nancy Henderson (Dan), Kathy Smith (Tim) and Vickie Buttrick; and his brother-in-law Tony Angelo.
