He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Chapman and Joan Bowen Chapman; and his brother Greg Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Chapman; his siblings, Jimmie, Timmy Chapman, Sasha Chapman, Melinda Boggess and Debbie Goodwin; his children, Jason Chapman, Andrew Chapman (Tara), Asa "Tanner" Chapman (Kaylee) and Jennifer Chapman (Nikki); his grandchildren, Willow, Archie, Hazley, Troy, Lee, Shailynne, Nicholas, Alex and Jayden; and his nieces, Crystal and Addyson. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and family friends.
