She was predeceased by: her father Harry Lee Raines; her husband Charles Dale Simms; her siblings, Burl, Evelyn Buttrick and Opal Bower; her grandsons, William Dale Viars and Mark Eugene Simms; and her great great grandchild Hershel Dow Stanley.
She is survived by: her children, Melvin "Pete" Simms of Crown City and Betty Parsons (Richard) of Gallipolis; her grandchildren, David Stanley (Darcy), Jammie Simms and Michael Stanley; her great grandchildren, Markayla Simms, Mason Simms, Joshua Allen Stanley, David Lee Stanley, Dominic Dale Stanley and Harper Celine Stanley; and her siblings, Jerry Raines of Scottown, Gary Raines of Scottown and Wanda Garnes of Gallipolis.
