He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Piper and Mabel Piper of Johnstown; his sister JoAnn McCann (H. Ray) of Mount Vernon; and his great grandchild Sloane Siegesmund. He is survived by: his significant other Linda Piper (Debolt) of Croton; his children, Lisa Piper, Lori Hebert (Richard) of Croton and David Piper (Dee) of Jensen Beach, FL.; his grandchildren, Doug Siegesmund (Allie), Greg Siegesmund (Lauren), Ali Palmer (Knoell), Matthew Hebert (Erin Knueve), Bradley Piper (Sarah) and Jared Piper; his great grandchildren, Lofton, Finley Siegesmund and Katherine Piper; and his siblings-in-law, Jack, Sonja Debolt, Jerry and Sally Houck. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the Croton Church of Christ.
