She was predeceased by: her parents, Loretta McPeak Coler and Leonard McDaniel; her husband Francis Murphy; her daughter Lori Hill; her sisters, Linda Finley and Sherry Shriver; and her half-brother Raymond Jackson.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Ralph Hill Jr.; her grandchildren, Amber White, Brady White (Jes) and Taylor Matson (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Ariana, Ella of Hayley, J. J., Eli, Zayden and Huxley; and her siblings, William McDaniel (Martha), Danny Coler (Susie), Phyllis Lockwood (Ralph) and Mickey Allen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
